Hello, my name is Jannah Haas; Physical Therapist and owner of Haas Physical Therapy. I firmly believe in a holistic, systematic approach to overall health and wellness. The body is forever interconnected. I strive to empower clients; sharing the tools to not only feel and move better but to also STAY feeling better. Balance within the body…….within ourselves is key to regaining/ improving mobility and function. This tends to be the basic building block from where I begin. Proactive health and self-care are just as important to me as rehab following an injury. I sought out this profession because of a keen interest in the human body, the complexity of it, and my desire to help people. My clients continue to drive me forward; pushing me to learn and grow as a therapist. Client engagement and having the client be an active part of their recovery is of utmost importance to me. I attempt to encapsulate this view by listening intently to my clients, treating appropriately, and providing clear client education.

I graduated from University of Saskatchewan with honours in 2008 and began working at St. Peter’s Hospital in Melville, SK. Over the past 10 years, I have had the opportunity to be a part of a great team of multi-disciplinary healthcare providers; learning from and working alongside physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, special care aides, laboratory technicians, X-ray technicians, and pharmacists. Being a part of the team environment allowed me to grow as a therapist, gain knowledge, insight, and experience within many different areas. I would not be the therapist I am today without these wonderful people! Working in a small rural hospital also provided me with many opportunities to treat a wide range of conditions ranging from musculoskeletal, post-op (elective and fractures), geriatrics, cardiorespiratory, and neurological. Throughout the past 10 years, I have completed additional education courses in areas of geriatrics, bariatrics, myofascial release, K-taping, neurology, and orthopedics. Additionally, I have obtained courses on Pelvic Floor Health including; Level 1 (The Physical Therapy Approach to Female and Male Incontinence) and Level 2/3A (Female and Male Pelvic Pain).
